Cookbooks & Convos, presented by Sisterly Love Collective, is a vibrant culinary experience celebrating the incredible women shaping Philadelphia’s food scene. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to empower and honor the female chefs and authors whose talents keep the city’s culinary culture thriving.
Recognizing the enduring charm of the beloved “The Book and The Cook” festival (1984–2007), Sisterly Love Collective set out to rekindle its spirit in a contemporary format. Cookbooks & Convos carries this tradition forward with a fresh twist—a celebration of culinary excellence and an invitation to connect, learn, and be inspired by the rich tapestry of women’s contributions to the culinary world. ALL ARE WELCOME!
